I just got a startling email from Jayme (Mark) Krueger. I had no idea about this, but apparently Jill's cute little Townsend had a terrible thing happen...
|
My wife Melinda and I had our third child--his name is Isaac Daniel Oliver and he was born on the lucky day: 7/7/07. Apparently there were a lot of women asking to be induced so that they could have their baby on that day. Nurses were turning them away. :)

Well, we survived the grand weekend bash, it seems. :)
First, I was a bit disappointed at the low turnout, it was still good to see Jill (Carson) Holan, Travis Humphrey, Jayme (Mark) Krueger, Joe Kuk, Laura (Eckert) Long, Heather Olsen, Angie Swanson, Anthony Warneke, Trevor Werner, and all their spouses and significant others. Children, too.
We met Friday at Michael's Cantina in Norfolk and shared sordid tales of mischief. After shutting down for the night, the party resumed at Trevor Werner's house, nay his estate in the backcountry. Those who were able to make it to the school tour were not disappointed, as we saw the new school in all its glory (it's quite a site to behold). I didn't have a camera, so I have no pictures to post. But trust me on this, it's cool.
We feasted like kings and queens in the Ga-Ze-Bo at the BC Park, and from thence proceeded onto a friendly game of golf at Evergreen Hills golf course. It was guys versus girls, guys winning by one stroke (hey Jayme and Jill are pretty good). Evergreen Hills made up a lot of food for such a small party, so there was plenty to go around afterwards.
If you weren't able to make it, sorry we missed you. I'll post pictures soon.

Dear Class of 1995 - would love to catch up with all of you, but will be attending Sioux Falls Blues Fest all day Saturday. Hmmmmmmmm....Kenny Wayne Shepherd or Paul Oliver..........what to do, what to do? Sorry, Paulie, KWS has to win in this case!! :-)
Perhaps I'll see you at Michaels Cantina Friday night, however.
